Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems using Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask) and React OR Angular.
• Architect scalable solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation).
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Frontend to define system architecture.
• Ensure high standards in code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews.
• Define and enforce backend architecture, security, and data modeling best practices.
• Drive technical decisions and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Manage sprint planning, task estimation, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, cloud architecture using AWS, and leading backend teams in delivering robust and high-performance applications. This role will also require hands-on coding, architecture planning, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems using Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask) and React OR Angular
• Architect scalable and maintainable solutions leveraging AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and Frontend to define and deliver system architecture.
• Ensure high standards in code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and perform regular code reviews.
• Define and enforce best practices for backend architecture, security, and data modeling.
• Drive technical decisions and roadmaps, aligning with business goals.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using Python and React OR Angular.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services and infrastructure design.
• Proficient in working with databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB etc.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration (e.g., ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipeline design using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
