Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and AWS serverless technologies. You will build secure APIs and microservices, and ensure robust testing and observability.

The role requires strong experience in Python, AWS serverless, and backend design, with a focus on high-quality, scalable systems and productive collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of relevant backend development experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS serverless technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. You will play a key role in building secure APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure REST APIs using Python
  


• Build, package, and deploy microservices on AWS
  


• Work extensively with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM)
  


• Implement data models and ensure efficient database interactions
  


• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality code
  


• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability for production systems
  


• Participate in design discussions and provide technical guidance
  


• Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows
