Job summary

Capco Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Python Engineer to design and build scalable backend services in Python. You will contribute to enterprise-grade applications, APIs, and microservices, with a focus on clean code and robust performance.

Ideal candidates have 6–8+ years hands-on Python development, strong OO design, data structures, and knowledge of AI/ML integration. Experience with Generative AI, LangChain, and cloud platforms like GCP is a plus.

Python Engineer

Python Engineer – Role Criteria

Highly skilled Python Developer with 6–8+ years of hands‑on experience designing and developing scalable backend applications and services using Python.

This role requires an individual with exceptionally strong Python fundamentals, excellent logical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience writing clean, efficient, and production‑grade Python code.

Experience in AI/ML is preferred, and exposure to Generative AI would be an added advantage.

• Experience 6–8+ years of hands‑on Python development experience.
• Immediate joiners only.
• Mandatory Skills Exceptional command over Python fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, iterators, generators, decorators, context managers, exception handling, and concurrency.
• Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to write clean, scalable, production‑grade Python code.
• Experience developing enterprise‑grade backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, code quality, testing, and debugging.
• Good SQL skills with experience in designing and optimizing database queries.
• Ability to design efficient technical solutions for complex business problems.
• Preferred Skills Experience in AI/ML application development.
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Exposure to GCP.
