Job summary

Luxoft in Bengaluru, India, seeks a DevOps Software Developer to drive automation and cloud initiatives. You will script in Python, set up CI/CD pipelines, and work with AWS EC2 and Docker to support our 24/7 risk-operations platform.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations to improve observability using Grafana/Prometheus and maintain infrastructure as code with GitHub Actions and related tooling.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Software Developer with strong engineering skills.
• Proficient in: Python, AWS EC2, Docker.
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy (or equivalents).
• Instrumentation & observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics (Optional).

Responsibilities

• Scripting using Python.
• Assisting with AWS cloud projects and CI/CD initiatives.
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Managing Source Control System, including branching, integration, and merging techniques using GitHub.

• The project is in Risk Domain which is supported by the IT team. The platform operates 24/7, supporting teams in Sydney. The platform undergoes constant change as it provides services to a number of business stakeholders.
• Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services, which are critical to the Australian and Global economy.
• Our team is also responsible to also drive Engineering Governance, Continuous Delivery, and key technological simplification pillars such as Cloud and Payments Event-based architecture.
