Job summary

APT Research Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to design and build scalable data pipelines and analytical systems.

The role blends hands-on coding with leadership across the DMR stack, from databases to production deployments. You'll mentor junior engineers, collaborate with researchers and trading teams, and drive architectural decisions, performance, and reliability in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and data-intensive system design.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse.
• Experience with data analytics, machine learning basics, and system-level programming.
• Exposure to or interest in trading systems, market data, or financial analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, performance tuning, and software architecture.
• Ability to balance long-term technical vision with rapid prototyping and agile execution.
