Job summary

Saama Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI).
• Strong AWS experience (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (basic to intermediate).
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and message queues (SQS, Kafka).
• Experience in writing unit/integration tests (pytest).
• Git and Agile software development practices.

• Design and develop scalable and high-performance backend systems using Python.
• Build, deploy, and manage microservices-based architectures on AWS.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services securely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure management.
• Participate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data protection standards.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong programming experience in Python (Flask / Django / FastAPI).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (basic to intermediate).
