Job summary

Straive in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable Python services using Django, FastAPI, or Flask. You will work on cloud-native architectures on AWS and contribute to robust microservices.

You will implement serverless patterns with Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB/RDS, emphasising security and performance. Collaboration with DevOps, QA, and product teams is essential to deliver end-to-end features in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python fundamentals with hands-on experience in FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with core AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS/SNS.
• Proficient in relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB/DynamoDB).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful web services.

Key Requirements

• Python Expertise: Strong core Python fundamentals with hands-on experience in frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Cloud & AWS Capabilities: Practical experience with core AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS/SNS).
• Database Skills: Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB / DynamoDB).
