Job summary

Responsibilities include building APIs, integrating GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket/Azure DevOps, crafting robust database access with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy, and ensuring secure credential management and testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python backend experience.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask (prefer FastAPI).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience in Python backend development, preferably using FastAPI. The candidate should have experience in REST API development, external API integrations, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Python scripting, automation, and workflow development. The role requires an understanding of asynchronous programming, authentication, secure credential management, testing, and scalable backend architecture. Familiarity with AI/LLM integration and AI-assisted automation would be an added advantage.

• Strong experience in Python backend development using FastAPI or Flask, preferably FastAPI.
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating external APIs such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Git, repository management, branches, tags, and commit history.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and ORM-based database operations.
• Hands-on experience with Python scripting, automation, and workflow development.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and background task processing.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, API tokens, and secure credential management.
• Experience with logging, error handling, retries, and exception management.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Pytest.
• Understanding of clean code, modular architecture, and scalable backend design.
