Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced QA/Automation Engineer in Chennai with 6–8 years of hands-on expertise in Selenium, Cucumber and Java for test automation. Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years hands-on experience in Selenium Cucumber Java test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming and web element operations.
• Experience with functional and regression test automation.
• Proficient in Selenium suite tools: IDE, RC, WebDriver, Grid.
• Proven ability to Debug and fix test cases and errors.
• Experience implementing JUnit/TestNG/Maven based automation frameworks.
• Good knowledge of BDD approach and stakeholder communication.

Exp Range- 6 to 8 yrs

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Associate 6 to 8 Years of hands-on experience in Selenium Cucumber Java test automation
• Good Knowledge on Web Environment, Web Elements and Operations on the Web Elements
• Basic Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation
• Good knowledge on Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid)
• Strong Knowledge of Java Programming
• Debugging Test Cases and Fixing Errors
• Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands.
• Strong knowledge in BDD approach
• Implementing JUnit / TestNG/MAVEN Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure
• Strong Communication and Stakeholder management.
