A leading IT consultancy in Hyderabad is seeking an Associate for Selenium Cucumber Java test automation. Responsibilities include designing high-quality automation scripts, maintaining scalable automation frameworks, and delivering solutions to meet client expectations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the Selenium suite and strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and Unix, alongside excellent communication skills in a geographically distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Selenium Cucumber Java test automation.

• Basic understanding of functional and regression test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design high quality deliverables with defined automation frameworks.
• Develop scalable automation scripts per client expectations.
• Integrate code adhering to CI/CD using Maven and uDeploy.
• Provide solutions to the automation design and techniques to solve problems as it arises
• Work with Cucumber framework and Maven
• Should be able to work with a team who might be geographically distributed. Understand the client requirements and delivery first time right.

• Associate with hands‑on experience in Selenium Cucumber Java test automation
• Good Knowledge on Web Environment, Web Elements and Operations on the Web Elements
• Basic Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation
• Good knowledge on Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid)
• Strong Knowledge of Java Programming
• Debugging Test Cases and Fixing Errors
• Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands.
• Strong knowledge in BDD approach
• Implementing JUnit / TestNG/MAVEN Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure
• Strong Communication and Stakeholder management.
• Hands on distributed version control repository
• Hands-on Knowledge on SQL and Unix

Responsibilities
