Job summary

Purview Services in India invites an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to lead testing initiatives. With 10–15 years in software testing, you will shape testing strategy and ensure release readiness across projects.

You will perform API and database testing, drive functional testing, test automation, and manage test environments and data. Proficiency with JMeter, Robot Framework, Postman/Insomnia and PostgreSQL is required, along with scripting and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE and 10–15 years in software testing.
• Understanding of end-to-end testing lifecycle and release processes.
• Experience in API and database testing.
• Knowledge of functional testing, test automation, environments and data management.
• Experience with testing tools such as JMeter, Robot Framework, Postman/Insomnia.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and scripting.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end testing strategy and release readiness.

Role & responsibilities

• A Bachelors/master’s in computer science or computer Engineering with 10-15 years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end testing lifecycle and Release process
• Experience in API/Database Testing
• Good knowledge of Functional, Test Automation, Test environments, Test data management
• Experience in using testing tools like JMeter, Robot Framework, Postman/Insomnia
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Working Knowledge on (any) scripting

Added Advantage -

• Knowledge on building CICD pipeline using Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
