Job summary

SKF is seeking an HR Functional Expert for its PX Operations in Pune, India. The role focuses on stable HR systems operation, configuration, updates, data handling, and secure access management within a global environment.

The candidate will maintain HRIS/Time & Attendance/Payroll, support releases, and collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure reliable processes and continuous improvement for SKF’s workforce. A university degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR systems administration in a global/complex environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience with a university degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in system configuration, maintenance, and data updates.
  • Proven incident management, system support, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of T&A and payroll HR platforms and processes.
  • Experience with user access management and security administration.
  • Familiar with system releases, testing, and reporting/data handling.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain HR systems (HRIS, Time & Attendance, Payroll).
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with security standards.
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and day-to-day operational support.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests; identify root causes and drive improvements.
  • Perform system configuration, updates, and data imports (mass changes, integrations).
  • Support system releases, upgrades, and testing (UAT, regression).
  • Maintain data quality, reporting, and system integrity.
  • Collaborate with PX, IT, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure reliable operations and continuous improvement.

Job Description

Role Title: HR Functional Expert

Location: Pune, India

Purpose of the Role

Ensure stable, secure, and high-quality operation of HR systems through effective configuration, system updates, imports, maintenance, access administration, incident resolution, and continuous improvement aligned with PX standards and governance.

What You Bring
