• 6+ years in purchasing/procurement in Lubricant Oil & Chemical Industry only.
• Experience in sourcing raw materials, solvents, additives and bulk inputs.
• Ability to coordinate with warehouse, planning and store teams for inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement strategies for chemical raw materials, solvents, additives, and bulk inputs to match production schedules.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage guidelines and inventory turns.
• Identify, audit, and onboard reliable chemical suppliers and conduct vendor evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing structures, annual rate contracts, payment terms, and SLAs with raw material manufacturers.
• Ensure incoming shipments have SDS, CoA, and Certificates of Origin; maintain compliance with safety and environmental laws.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Store, Logistics, and Finance to resolve material issues.

Role & responsibilities

Raw Material Sourcing & Procurement

• Plan and execute procurement strategies for chemical raw materials, solvents, additives, and bulk/specialty inputs to match production schedules
• Constant generation of ideas to improve inventory turns on purchased materials, with a focus on Major - Lubricant Oil & Chemical standardized components; Develop a yearly business plan for Purchasing based on operational Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage guidelines goals, and review on an ongoing basis.

Vendor Development & Management

• Identify, audit, and onboard reliable chemical suppliers. Conduct regular vendor evaluations (quality, cost, and delivery lead times)
• Responsible for monitoring and minimizing costs in delivery of spare parts
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers Coordinate with logistics for right material at right time.

Negotiation & Contracting

• Negotiate favorable pricing structures, annual rate contracts, payment terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with raw material manufacturers.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

• Ensure all incoming chemical shipments are accompanied by valid Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and Certificates of Origin. Maintain compliance with environmental, safety, and statutory laws

Inventory & Cost Optimization

• Follow up of supplier outstanding payments. Collaborate with production, planning, and warehouse teams to monitor inventory thresholds, prevent stockouts, and avoid over-ordering. Track market price volatility for key petrochemicals or core inputs

ERP & Documentation

• Manage Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) inside enterprise systems, reconcile cycle counts, and maintain audit-ready records

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Production, Store, Logistics, and Finance to resolve material non-conformances, delivery delays, or invoice discrepancies.
• Ensures training schedules reflect maximum utilization of training equipment and personnel

Preferred candidate profile

• 6+ Years, in purchasing/procurement in Lubricant Oil & Chemical Industry only
• Male candidate having his own 2 wheeler.
• handle ERP/SAP Hana B1 Systems.
