• Negotiate prices, terms, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare POs and monitor orders from placement to delivery.
• Control inventory and resolve shortages or delays.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Planning

• Having minimum 7 yrs Industrial purchasing experience.
• Develop purchasing strategies based on production and business requirements.
• Prepare annual and monthly procurement plans.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts.
• Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and finance departments.

2. Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations.
• Negotiate contracts and long-term supply agreements.
• Ensure vendor compliance with quality and delivery requirements.

3. Cost Management

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Achieve annual cost reduction targets.
• Analyze market trends and commodity prices.
• Implement value engineering and alternative sourcing initiatives.

4. Purchase Operations

• Prepare and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Monitor order status from placement to delivery.
• Ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Resolve supply delays and shortages.
