Job summary

Neurealm Company in Mumbai seeks an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, SaaS and services. You will partner with IT, Finance, Legal and Security to ensure compliant, cost-efficient technology sourcing.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytics and stakeholder management skills, with responsibility for renewals, lifecycle support and governance across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree; supply chain, procurement, IT, technology or business management preferred.
• Experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, vendor management or IT commercials preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• IT BOMs, SOWs and business requirements analysis for accuracy and alignment with technology needs.
• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for IT hardware, software, SaaS, licenses and services.
• Oversee procurement operations: requisitions, approvals, POs, vendors, delivery tracking, invoicing queries and escalations.
• Lead commercial negotiations with IT vendors for favorable pricing and terms.
• Draft, review and manage vendor contracts, licenses, subscriptions, SOWs and SLAs with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Information Security and stakeholders to meet tech requirements and timelines.
• Identify and manage IT vendors, build relationships for quality, reliability and continuity.
• Analyze IT spend and vendor proposals to find cost-saving opportunities and optimization.
• Support IT asset lifecycle activities including renewals and technology refreshes.
• Track software licenses and subscriptions to ensure timely renewals and renewals governance.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance, and information-security requirements.
• Independently manage procurement across multiple locations ensuring consistency and timely delivery.

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Requirement Analysis: Review and analyze IT Bills of Material (BOMs), technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOWs), and business requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with technology needs.
• End-to-End IT Procurement: Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for IT hardware, software, SaaS/cloud solutions, IT infrastructure, licenses, subscriptions, peripherals, and technology services.
• Procurement Operations: Manage day-to-day IT procurement activities, including requisitions, approvals, purchase orders (POs), vendor coordination, delivery tracking, invoice-related queries, and escalation management.
• Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations with IT vendors to achieve competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, payment terms, warranties, service levels, and other contractual commitments.
• Contract & License Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage IT vendor contracts, licensing agreements, subscriptions, SOWs, and SLAs in coordination with Legal, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with IT teams, business functions, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and other stakeholders to understand technology requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage IT vendors while developing strong strategic relationships to ensure quality, reliability, service continuity, and commercial competitiveness.
• Technology Spend Management: Analyze IT spend and vendor proposals to identify opportunities for cost savings, consolidation, standardization, and optimization of technology investments.
• IT Asset & Lifecycle Support: Support procurement activities related to the IT asset lifecycle, including new purchases, renewals, upgrades, replacements, and technology refresh requirements.
• Renewals Management: Track and manage software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, support contracts, AMC/ATS agreements, and other technology renewals to ensure timely action and avoid business disruption.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, authorization matrices, vendor governance, information-security requirements, and ethical standards.
• Multi-Location Support: Independently manage IT procurement requirements and stakeholder expectations across FSL locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Education & Skills

• Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline; Supply Chain Management, Procurement, IT, Technology, or Business Management will be preferred.
• Relevant experience in IT Procurement, Technology Sourcing, Vendor Management, IT Commercials, or Procurement will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT procurement categories such as hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, IT infrastructure, licensing, IT services, and support contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams.
• Strong analytical, numerical, commercial, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of vendor evaluation, commercial negotiations, contracts, SLAs, licensing, and procurement governance.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities independently, prioritize requirements, and deliver outcomes within timelines.
• Ability to work effectively with IT, Finance, Legal, Information Security, business teams, and external technology partners.
