Job summary

Nextenti Tech in Ongole is seeking an experienced Pulmonologist to diagnose and manage respiratory disorders and lead patient care in a hospital setting.

The candidate should have MBBS with MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine, valid registration, and strong clinical skills to handle routine and critical conditions in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• MBBS + MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine / Respiratory Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration.
• Relevant experience in Pulmonology preferred.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders.
• Manage asthma, COPD, pneumonia, infections, interstitial lung disease, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
• Assess and manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Handle respiratory emergencies and critically ill patients.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, ABG, spirometry, and other investigations.
• Perform bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures as per hospital requirements.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and monitor recovery.
• Coordinate with ICU, Emergency, Radiology, Cardiology, and other departments.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Participate in ICU, emergency, and on-call duties as required.
