Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and responsible psychiatric nurse to join our mental healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in psychiatric nursing or have completed a recognised certification/course in Psychiatric Nursing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to patients with various mental health conditions.
- Assess patients' physical and mental health needs and monitor their progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the psychiatrist/doctor.
- Monitor patients for changes in behavior, mood, and overall condition.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans.
- Build supportive and therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Handle psychiatric emergencies and follow appropriate safety protocols.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medication, and ongoing care.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Qualification:- ANM/ GNM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification.
- Experience:*1 to 6 years of experience in **Psychiatric Nursing / mental health nursing.
- Candidates who have completed a **recognized certification/course in psychiatric nursing** may also be considered.
- Valid nursing registration is mandatory.
- Compassionate, patient, and emotionally mature approach.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts, if required.

Knowledge of psychiatric nursing procedures and patient safety.
- Ability to manage challenging patient behaviours calmly and professionally.
- Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary mental healthcare team.
