Just Tutors, part of Socratic Education Pvt. Ltd., offers hyper-personalized learning in Math, Science, and English for ages 8 to 14. We are hiring a Science tutor for online, one-to-one sessions from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., six days a week, to deliver engaging lessons and monitor progress.

The ideal candidate has prior online tutoring experience, strong science knowledge, and excellent communication skills to adapt methods to different learning styles and online platforms.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Science tutor, preferably online.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and digital teaching tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students via the online platform.
• Explain Science concepts (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and problem solving.
• Develop critical thinking and apply learning across subjects.
• Prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)

Working Time & Days:

1 p.m. – 10 p.m.

6 Days Working (Mon to Sat)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students via the online platform.

Provide clear explanations of Science concepts ( Physics , Chemistry & Biology ) and demonstrate problem-solving strategies.

Assist students in developing critical thinking, reasoning, and application-based learning across both subjects.

Prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

Use a variety of teaching methods such as visual aids, simulations, experiments, and digital tools to enhance student engagement.

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and guidance.

Create a supportive and motivating learning environment that fosters curiosity and confidence in students.

Stay updated on curriculum standards, pedagogy, and best practices in both Mathematics and Science instructions

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Science tutor , preferably in an online setting.

Strong subject knowledge in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology fundamentals for school level).

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and digital teaching tools.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
