Job summary

Livcaare Rehabilitation in Vijayawada East is seeking a Prosthetist & Orthotist to provide patient-centered care, assess and measure for devices, and manage a clinical caseload on-site.

You will design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, perform gait analysis, educate patients and caregivers, and document findings to improve outcomes with 3D printing integration.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Prosthetics and Orthotics with limb device fitting.
• Gait analysis and biomechanical assessment to optimize mobility.
• Empathetic patient care with clear communication and rehab focus.
• Understanding of medicine and rehab principles for limb loss and diabetic foot care.
• Licensure or registration as required for Prosthetics & Orthotics.
• Experience with 3D printing, CAD/CAM in device fabrication desirable.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage caseload efficiently.
• Strong documentation and follow-up skills.

Role Description

The Prosthetist & Orthotist will provide patient-centered clinical care, including assessment, measurement, and evaluation of individuals requiring prosthetic and orthotic interventions. Responsibilities include designing, fabricating, fitting, and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, with a focus on comfort, function, and long‑term durability. The role involves conducting gait analysis, collaborating with physicians and rehabilitation teams, educating patients and caregivers on device use and maintenance, and documenting clinical findings and treatment plans. The Prosthetist & Orthotist will also support continuous improvement of clinical protocols and integration of advanced technologies such as 3D printing. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Vijayawada East.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Prosthetics and Orthotics, including design, fitting, and adjustment of upper and lower limb devices.
• Proficiency in Gait Analysis and biomechanical assessment to optimize mobility and functional outcomes.
• Strong Patient Care skills, with a focus on empathy, clear communication, and rehabilitation‑focused support.
• Solid understanding of Medicine and rehabilitation principles relevant to limb loss, musculoskeletal conditions, and diabetic foot care.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics or a related recognized qualification; relevant professional registration or licensure as required.
• Experience with modern fabrication methods (e.g., 3D printing, CAD/CAM) and familiarity with diabetic foot care solutions is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and follow‑up skills to ensure high‑quality, continuous patient care.
