Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business or IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with IT or professional services proposals and government or enterprise procurement.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborate with internal teams.
• Ability to review and edit documents for consistency, grammar, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Experience in IT or professional services proposals is beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Proposal Writer role based in Srinagar. The Proposal Writer will develop, write, and edit proposals in response to RFPs and other solicitation documents, ensuring that content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing RFPs, collaborating with subject matter experts, organizing proposal sections, and preparing clear, persuasive technical and business narratives. The role also involves maintaining proposal templates and content libraries, standardizing language and messaging, and supporting proposal management activities such as schedules, checklists, and reviews. The Proposal Writer will work closely with the proposal management and business development teams to meet deadlines and improve win rates.

• Candidates should possess skills in Proposal Writing and Technical Writing to create clear, structured, and compelling proposal content.


• Candidates should possess skills in Proposal Management and RFP analysis to interpret requirements, organize responses, and ensure compliance.

• Ability to review and edit documents for consistency, grammar, and style; strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
