Qualifications

• Finance degree or equivalent and a genuine interest in the investment industry.
• 2–4 years of experience in an institutional investment firm, bank or trust company.
• Clear verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate with others.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality proposals in a timely manner for institutional and private client sales teams.
• Prepare and complete RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs with subject matter experts.
• Draft new responses and suggest enhancements to existing RFPs.
• Maintain and administer an RFP response database with consistency across materials.
• Assist with preparation of reports and files to support the RFP process.
• Update external investment and consultant databases as required.

Job description

We are looking for a Proposal Specialist to join the Proposal and Consultant Database Team in India. Shift Timings : 1:30p.m. to 10:30p.m.

What You Will Do

• In this role, you will be challenged to deliver high quality proposals in a timely manner for the institutional and private client sales teams. You will learn about a broad range of public and private investment strategies and coordinate with subject matter experts in portfolio management and investment operations. Time management, project management and attention to detail are required to be successful in this role.
• Preparing and completing RFPs, RFIs, DDQs for all CC&L Financial Group affiliates; this involves working closely with subject matter experts from all business areas.
• Drafting new responses and recommending value added enhancements to the existing RFP responses.
• Maintaining and administering an RFP response database and ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of various reports and files required to support the RFP process.
• Assist with updating and maintaining various external investment and consultant databases, if required.

What You Bring

• Investment Knowledge: You have a Finance Degree or equivalent and a genuine interest for the investment industry.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an institutional investment firm, bank or trust company will be beneficial to your success. Completion of relevant industry courses would also be an asset.
• Collaborative Communication: You can articulate yourself clearly verbally and written and work well with others to resolve complex issues.
• Team Player: You are committed to contributing and supporting a team of like-minded individuals who are driven and have high standards.
• Positive Attitude: You are a sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic person who will seek to improve existing processes and help to implement creative solutions.
• Computer Skills: You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
