Job summary

FLSmidth in Chennai, India, invites you to join our global minerals processing team as a Proposal and Cost Estimation specialist. You will support proposal management, prepare compliant cost estimates and help deliver solutions that improve profitability for Thickening products across their lifecycle.

With 3–5 years of relevant experience and a BE in Chemical or Mechanical, you will collaborate with engineering and sales, coordinate inputs, and contribute to material cost estimates while

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in proposal and cost estimation.
• Proposal management support within sales as back-office function.
• Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.
• May have engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability for Thickening products over lifecycle with primary responsibility for Capital OI / Revenue / CM and secondary for Service OI/CM.
• Coordinate review and edit proposal input.
• May deliver cost estimates of products and estimate current material costs.
