Job summary

Moonfire is seeking a seasoned Prompt Engineer to lead the design and optimization of prompts for advanced language models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering into scalable workflows, build guardrails, and establish evaluation methodologies to reduce hallucinations.

A strong background in Python and Azure services is required to implement robust CI/CD pipelines for production-grade prompt workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and experimentation.
• Experience with Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, AKS, Azure Data Factory).
• Familiarity with LangChain, RAG frameworks, and vector databases.
• Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for prompt workflows.

Location: Bangalore, Bhuwaneshwar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida, Pune.

Experience: 5+ years.

Responsibilities

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience in Prompt Engineering and demonstrate ability to develop scalable prompt engineering solutions for production environments. Specific responsibilities include:

• Build and optimize prompts for large language models and related AI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering into end-to-end workflows.
• Develop and maintain prompt frameworks, guardrails, and evaluation methodologies to minimize hallucinations.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for prompt workflows, preferably using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python for automation and experimentation.
• Strong understanding of LLMs (GPT, BERT, Claude) and prompt engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, AKS, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
• Familiarity with LangChain, RAG frameworks, and vector databases.
• Exposure to Generative AI and strategies to minimize hallucinations via guardrails.

Preferred Experience

• Building scalable prompt engineering frameworks for production environments.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or AI Engineer (preferred).
• Experience with Agentic AI, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Langraph, etc.
• Develop CICD pipelines for prompt workflows using Azure DevOps or equivalent.
