Job summary

Ramboll invites a qualified professional to join its Transport division for management and coordination of complex infrastructure projects. You will align multiple disciplines, manage interfaces, and track deliverables through weekly planning meetings to ensure timely delivery.

You will contribute to scope control, budget monitoring, risk reviews, and QA/QC as per ISO standards, with strong emphasis on English communication and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong command of written and verbal English.
• Sound knowledge of Design Management and Project Planning.
• Experience with infrastructure market design and project controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between disciplines and ensure documentation and folder structure compliance under discipline leads.
• Initiate and coordinate interface management including Organisation Chart, Interface matrix, and RACI matrix; track deliverables weekly.
• Review scope documents to ensure client requirements are met and integrated solutions delivered.
• Manage project reporting and control using tools like Earned Value Analysis; prepare dashboards.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Co-ordinating between various disciplines, documentation, folder structure, ensuring compliance with specification through team lead of respective disciplines.
• To initiate & coordinate for interface management process that includes development of Organisation Chart, Interface matrix, RACI Matrix, tracking progress of internal deliverables through weekly visual planning meetings using visual planning tools.
• Periodically Reviewing scope documents to maintain focus on meeting the client's requirements and success factors, in addition to ensuring the solution is integrated and coordinated.
• Project Management, Reporting and controlling through tools like Earned Value Analysis.
• Development, Updating & Monitoring of Project Schedules, and Work Breakdown Structure considering contract deliverables and resourcing needs using tools like Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
• Interact with Project Team and task managers to define the scope of work to develop and update schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan.
• Analyze Critical Path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
• Establishing Project Baselines at the start of the Project and track it on a timely basis as required.
• Preparation of S-curves, Schedule variances, Project Dashboard, etc.
• Supporting Project Manager's with all key information related to the health of project, performance as per Baselines, delay, resources, communication, look ahead etc and other information in day to day working.
• Timely delivery of project submissions including resource management.
• Monitoring the budgets and additional scopes through change management.
• Implementation of QA/QC Procedures & Compliance to ISO requirements.
• Conducting Design reviews for identifying the issues, assessing the progress, risks & plan for mitigation.
• Keep stakeholders well informed regarding the project status at regular intervals.

Must possess

• B-Tech/M-Tech in Civil/Structural/Transportation Engineering or Masters/PG in Construction Management/Project Management with 6-10 years of professional experience.
• Should have preferably worked in similar role and have a very good understanding of the processes. International Consultancy experience would be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of Design Management & Project Planning.
• Must be highly competent in written and verbal English language.
• Must possess profound design experience in the infrastructure market.
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating within teams to successful develop multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient team player, with experience of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, thereby fostering their involvement and engagement.
• Must possess excellent organisational and communication abilities, to ensure understanding of project plans and solutions.
• Should be a competent user of IT Tools in particular MS Office and reporting tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, PowerBI, Power Automate etc.
• Wider knowledge of other disciplines is highly desirable.
• Should be able to conduct project reviews for identifying issues & risks and thus plan for their mitigations.
• Should be able to coordinate with all Project members to gather project data and should efficiently convert it into Information & reports.
• Should be versed with Project reporting, Dashboards, Client instructions, Control & review plan, managing all communications as single point of contact for Project team.
• Should have supported Project manager/ Project team in implementing Project Management Systems and Project Control measures like Earned value Analysis and other Project control techniques.
• Experience of working with Automation, Standardisation, AI implementation initiatives is highly desirable.
