Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of core banking transformation projects. You will ensure governance, manage stakeholders, and apply deep knowledge of Temenos T24 lifecycle (SIT/UAT/Cutover) to keep initiatives on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and planning capabilities across Retail, Corporate, Lending, Payments, and Treasury operations, with familiarity of T24 modules (AA, TAFJ, TPH).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, or IT.
• Proven experience managing banking implementations or upgrades.
• Strong understanding of Retail, Corporate, Lending, Payments, and Treasury.
• Familiarity with Temenos T24 modules (AA, TAFJ, TPH) is a plus.
• Proficient with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Banking transformation projects.
• Act as primary liaison between bank, Temenos, system integrators, and internal stakeholders.
• Define project scope, goals, milestones, and resource plans with budgets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Oversee data migration, interfaces, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover plans.
• Prepare steering reports for senior management.

The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, and deep understanding of banking operations and the Temenos T24 implementation lifecycle (SIT/UAT/Cutover).

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of Banking implementation or upgrade projects, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the bank, Temenos, system integrators, and internal stakeholders.
• Planning & Control: Define project scope, goals, milestones, and resource allocation, preparing detailed project plans and budget tracking.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Implementation Oversight: Oversee data migration, interface design, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and cutover plans.
• Governance & Reporting: Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience managing banking implementation or upgrade projects.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking operations (Retail, Corporate, Lending, Payments, Treasury).
• Technical Familiarity: Understanding of T24 modules and architecture (AA, TAFJ, TPH, or General Transact modules) would be added advantage
• Skills: Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Information Technology.
