Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end EXIM SaaS implementations, integrating ERP systems and public trade portals.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope and timelines, and ensure on-time delivery within budget, while engaging customers and stakeholders throughout the SoW.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing SaaS implementation projects with system integrations.
• Strong working knowledge of Export & Import (EXIM) processes.
• Experience managing ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
• Understanding of API-based integrations, data flows, and integration testing.

• Strong ability to control scope and minimize customization.
• Proficiency in Agile Sprint methodology is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SaaS implementation projects for EXIM solutions.
• Plan, track, and govern project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and resources.
• Ensure delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide regular project status updates to customers and internal leadership.
• Collaborate with internal and customer project teams to deliver the Solution per the SoW.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product Management, QA, Customer Success, IT and Cyber Security teams.
• Manage integration dependencies, testing cycles, and cutover planning.
• Drive adoption of out-of-the-box product capabilities and pre-built integrations.
• Ensure any customization is minimal, justified, approved, and governed through formal change control.
• Act as the single point of contact for customers during implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end SaaS implementation projects for EXIM digitalisation solutions.
• Plan, track, and govern project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and resources.
• Ensure delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide regular project status updates to customers and internal leadership.
• Collaboration with Internal and Customer Project team to successfully deliver the Solution to customer needs as defined in the SoW.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• EXIM Domain & Process Leadership
• Lead requirement and process workshops covering export and import lifecycles, including:
  • Export/import documentation and compliance
  • Customs filing and regulatory processes
  • Licenses, incentives, and trade schemes
  • Logistics, shipping, and port operations
• ERP & Integration Management
• Manage integration of the EXIM SaaS platform with customer ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
• Coordinate implementation of pre-built integrations with external public systems, such as:
  • Customs and government portals
  • DGFT, ICEGATE, ULIP, banking systems
  • Shipping lines, ports, and logistics partners
• Work closely with technical and integration teams to ensure data accuracy, security, and performance.
• Manage integration dependencies, testing cycles, and cutover planning.
• Standardization & Scope Control
• Drive adoption of out-of-the-box product capabilities and pre-built integrations.
• Strongly discourage unnecessary custom development by:
  • Aligning customer requirements to standard configurations
  • Recommending process changes aligned with industry best practices
• Ensure any customization is minimal, justified, approved, and governed through formal change control.
• Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the single point of contact for customers during implementation.
• Set and manage expectations on scope, timelines, integration readiness, and responsibilities.
• Proactively manage scope creep, change requests, and risks.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customer business, IT, and compliance teams.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Product Development, QA, Customer Success, Customer Support, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams.
• Ensure smooth handover from pre-sales to implementation and from implementation to Customer Success and Customer support.
• Optimize internal and partner resource utilization.
• Quality, Risk & Go-Live
• Identify and mitigate project, compliance, and integration risks.
• Ensure successful UAT, data validation, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Ensure adherence to internal TRIM - Trezix Rapid Implementation

Methodology and contractual commitments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have
• Proven experience managing SaaS implementation projects with system integrations.
• Strong working knowledge of Export & Import (EXIM) business processes.
• Experience managing ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
• Understanding of API-based integrations, data flows, and integration testing.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to control scope and minimize customization.
• Proficiency in Agile Sprint methodology is a must.
• Good to Have
• Experience with EXIM or trade compliance digital platforms.
• Familiarity with Indian EXIM ecosystem and public systems (DGFT, ICEGATE, ULIP, banks, shipping lines).
• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification.
• Experience in the supply chain domain, especially Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and international trade processes (import/export), will be a significant advantage.
