Job summary

Railtech Infraventure Pvt Ltd in India seeks a professional to lead planning, execution, monitoring and completion of ballasted railway track construction projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality requirements and railway safety standards.

You will coordinate P-Way activities, supervise ballast spreading, sleeper placement, rail laying, alignment and leveling, monitor progress and costs, review reports and documentation, and manage risks to meet

Qualifications

• Proven experience in railway P-Way or track construction projects, preferably ballasted track execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of ballasted track construction and associated P-Way activities.
• Plan and supervise formation-readiness coordination, ballast spreading, sleeper placement, rail laying, track linking, alignment, levelling, tamping, ballast profiling, and finishing as applicable to the project scope.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, machinery utilization, material requirements, and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate with client representatives, railway authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, applicable railway specifications, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
• Monitor daily and monthly progress, productivity, material consumption, project costs, and resource utilization.
• Review DPRs, quality records, measurement sheets, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Identify execution risks, resolve site-level issues, and ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
• Ensure implementation of railway safety procedures and safe working practices.

Job Purpose

Mandatory Experience

Proven experience managing railway P-Way or track construction projects, preferably involving ballasted track execution.
