Job summary

Thejo Engineering in Chennai seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute projects ensuring on-time completion, cost control, quality, and client satisfaction. You will oversee manpower utilization, resource planning, and budget monitoring to drive project performance.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree (DME/B.E./B.Tech) with 10–14 years of experience in project execution, operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Plan, coordinate, execute and monitor projects to meet scope, time, cost, and quality.
• Optimize manpower utilization and resource planning.
• Monitor budgets and track variances against plans.
• Coordinate with clients and manage contracts and changes.

Role & responsibilities

To plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor assigned projects to ensure timely completion, cost control, quality standards, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager is responsible for effective manpower utilization, resource planning, budget monitoring, client coordination, and overall project performance.

Preferred candidate profile

DME / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering , 10- 14 years of relevant experience in project execution, operations & maintenance field. Knowledge of project planning, cost control, budgeting, billing, and contract management. Strong leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office.
