We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Infrastructure to drive the execution of multiple Information Technology Infrastructure projects and enhancements. The role will identify customer and operational needs, develop and communicate project plans and priorities, remove delivery barriers, secure required resources, establish performance standards, measure progress, and develop contingency plans.
The Project Manager will work closely with infrastructure customers, management, the PMO, IT teams, and business stakeholders to build and manage a pipeline of infrastructure projects. The role serves as a liaison between the Infrastructure team and other IT and business teams with infrastructure project requirements, ensuring efficient execution of a portfolio of programs, enhancements, and smaller infrastructure projects.

- Lead Infrastructure projects and work with groups within the Infrastructure department through full life-cycle project management.
- Research, analyze, and establish effective project management practices that span disciplines across IT Infrastructure projects.
- Generate project metrics and provide regular briefings, dashboards, and status updates to senior management on ongoing Infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, organize project components, coordinate schedules and activities, track progress, and report results.
- Develop accurate and informed scopes of work, including project schedules, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Work with Infrastructure management and the PMO to manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and change management from project conception through completion.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated project communication documents.
- Build, develop, and maintain business relationships that are vital to successful project delivery.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and improvement opportunities.
- Mentor IT staff and provide individual training in areas such as project management and risk management; collaborate with the PMO and assist teams in resolving technical and business issues.
- Hold self and project teams accountable for project delivery and timely project reporting.
- Ensure Infrastructure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of plans, programs, and initiatives.
- Use relevant business metrics, analyses, and reports to measure, monitor, communicate, and improve performance.
- Apply sound, fact-based criteria when setting priorities and making project decisions.
- Create a sense of urgency that motivates stakeholders and project teams to complete responsibilities and achieve agreed goals while maintaining accountability for expected results.

PRIMARY SKILLS (MUST HAVE SKILLS):
- 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years working with Infrastructure systems.
- Strong project/program management and change management experience using widely adopted methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional project teams and mentoring staff at different levels.
- Experience managing projects involving global teams and geographically distributed stakeholders.
- Strong technical background in at least one or two Infrastructure technologies.
- Strong ability to manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively from IT staff through senior/executive management.
- Experience working through a PMO or participating in a PMO as a workstream lead is preferred.
SECONDARY SKILLS (GOOD TO HAVE):
- Experience working within a matrixed responsibility structure.
- Experience managing global, cross-functional infrastructure programs and portfolios.
- Experience developing executive dashboards, project metrics, status reports, and project communications.
- Experience with project post-mortems, lessons learned, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to mentor project teams and support resolution of technical and business issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years of experience dealing with Infrastructure systems.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is a plus.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND TOOLS:
Strong experience with program/project management and change management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
- Desktop computers, laptops, and Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to communicate ideas and issues effectively to project teams, IT stakeholders, business teams, and management.
- Ability to write and maintain project documentation, reports, communications, and other required records.
- Ability to build, nurture, and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
