Job summary

Leckpreufung Systems Pvt Ltd in Pune invites an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple industrial automation projects end-to-end. You will coordinate design, fabrication, vendor management, assembly, and site commissioning from concept to FAT/SAT, while guiding shop-floor teams and interfacing with cross-functional departments.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:
- Lead multiple concurrent Industrial Automation projects end-to-end: design alignment, fabrication, vendor coordination, assembly, and site commissioning (concept to FAT/SAT).
- Identify, onboard and manage outsourced vendors; negotiate pricing/contracts and manage SLAs for fabrication, CNC/VMC machining and finishing work.
- Oversee manufacturing and design execution including assembly supervision, jigs & fixtures, and pneumatic/hydraulic integration with GD&T compliance.
- Supervise and guide mechanical technicians, fitters and assembly engineers on the shop floor.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Design, Electrical/Controls, Procurement, QC teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track budgets, timelines and risks using tools like MS Project/Primavera; prepare Gantt charts, manage cost variations and mitigation plans.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure supplier quality management across the vendor ecosystem.

Preferred candidate profile:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering; PMP/Prince2 certification a strong advantage.
- 6-10 years of Project Management experience in industrial automation, SPM or precision machine-building environments.
- Minimum 3 years directly supervising engineering floors, mechanical assembly or shop-floor technicians.
- Proven expertise in Jigs & Fixtures, pneumatic/hydraulic integration and GD&T.
- Strong vendor ecosystem knowledge: CNC/VMC, fabrication and finishing processes, and vendor cost structures.
- Mechanical blueprint literacy using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other 3D CAD tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage floor workers, resolve supplier conflicts and present to stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, Jira and ERP software.
