Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master with Data Analytics expertise to support regional data and technology delivery initiatives across APMEA and LATAM. The role requires strong Agile delivery experience, data platform knowledge, and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical execution.

The ideal candidate will lead Scrum ceremonies, manage backlogs, and coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and governance compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or related discipline.
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM/PSM) or Agile certifications preferred.
• PMP, SAFe, or related Project Management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Manage sprint backlogs, execution plans, and delivery schedules with engineering teams.
• Support effort estimation, capacity planning, and delivery timeline management.
• Track progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments; provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Gather and refine business requirements from regional stakeholders; translate to epics and user stories.
• Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams for alignment and clarity.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product teams to validate approaches.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance standards.
• Support data and analytics initiatives using Databricks, Power BI, databases, and GenAI-related solutions.
• Drive cross-functional, regional programs in Agile environments.

The Opportunity

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Support effort estimation, capacity planning, and delivery timeline management.
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements from regional stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product teams to validate solution approaches and technical feasibility.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise product, architecture, and data governance standards.
• Support data and analytics initiatives leveraging Databricks, Power BI, databases, and GenAI-related solutions.
• Drive successful delivery of cross-functional and regional programs in Agile environments.

What You Need

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Scrum Master, Business Analysis, Technical Analysis, or Data Engineering-related roles.
• Proven experience leading Agile delivery teams and Scrum execution.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics, and reporting platforms.
• Experience working with regional and global stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technically actionable user stories.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and execution capabilities.
