Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead end-to-end Applied HVAC projects in Chennai. The role requires hands-on installation, testing and commissioning of chillers and associated systems, along with strong coordination with clients and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical and 10+ years of project management experience in chiller-based HVAC projects, with excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC project execution & project management.
• Mandatory experience in chiller-based HVAC projects.
• Strong knowledge of Applied HVAC systems.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Applied HVAC projects.
• Lead installation, testing & commissioning of HVAC systems, with hands-on experience in chillers, AHUs, pumps, ducting, piping.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMCs, vendors, OEMs, and internal teams.
• Manage project schedules, quality, safety, and cost control.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Role Overview

Responsible for end‑to‑end execution and management of Applied HVAC projects, with strong hands‑on experience in HVAC project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Chiller project experience is mandatory.
