Job summary

Synoptek in Pune, India seeks a Project Manager for Dynamics AX & Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations across enterprise environments. You will lead end-to-end ERP projects, coordinating clients, stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include governance, requirements workshops, data migration, testing, deployment, change management and user adoption, while monitoring scope, budgets and risks.

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation projects from initiation through post-go-live support.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct discovery sessions, business process workshops, and requirement gathering activities to define project objectives and solution requirements.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and delivery milestones.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Coordinate functional design reviews, fit-gap analysis, system configuration validation, and solution acceptance activities.
• Oversee data migration, testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production readiness activities.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, contractual obligations, and client expectations.
• Support change management, end-user training, knowledge transfer, and organizational adoption initiatives.
• Manage project escalations and collaborate with leadership to resolve complex business and technical challenges.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery methodologies and operational efficiency.
• Mentor Functional Consultants and project team members while fostering collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence.
• Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ERP implementation methodologies, and industry best practices.

The Project Manager - Dynamics AX is responsible for leading end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation projects across enterprise client environments. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure successful ERP solution delivery while managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. The position supports project governance, business workshops, fit-gap analysis, system configuration validation, data migration, testing, deployment, change management, user adoption, and continuous improvement across Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations engagements.
