Shift Timing: 11:30 AM IST – 8:30 PM IST

Project Scope

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant to support our enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization. The candidate must have deep knowledge of AX modules and be proficient in SQL development.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Understand and support core Dynamics AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.
• Work independently to deep dive into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer.
• Debug existing AX customizations.
• Trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL.
• Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration.
• Perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality.
• Create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
• Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
• Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing the scripts.
• Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus.
