Job summary

Alfa Laval India in Satara is seeking a dynamic Project Manager Continuous Improvement to develop manufacturing processes in line with Alfa Laval Production System and Lean Six Sigma.

You will coordinate ALPS rollout, support site communication, run ALPS training, participate in steering committees, and ensure scorecard reporting. The role requires 8–10 years in production, and a BE Mechanical / Production Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing.
• BE Mechanical / Production Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the local communication link between factory/site and the ALPS Central Team.
• Support ALPS in-site communication and daily operations.
• Run local ALPS Basic training and support ALPS CET in preparation/execution of Central ALPS Basic training.
• Coordinate ALPS related training and planning for installations and progress days.
• Perform audits according to ALPS standards (SB Audit Dialogues, SOP Audit Dialogues, 5S).
• Submit initiatives/suggestions to ALPS CET.

Alfa Laval India is looking for a dynamic Project Manager Continuous Improvement for Satara location who would be responsiblefor continued development of manufacturing processes in line with Alfa Laval Production System and Lean Six Sigma principles and objectives.

Actively support and challenge the roll-out of ALPS together with the FM and management team, nurturing an environment which enables the factory/site to follow the four priorities: Sustainability, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

The position / About the Job:

• Act as the local communication link between the factory/site and the ALPS Central Team (ALPS CET).
• Support ALPS in-site communication.
• Actively support and challenge the daily running of ALPS in the factory/site.
• Participate in local and PG/regional ALPS Steering Committee.
• Ensure that the factory/site ALPS Scorecard is reported on time and according to standard.
• Ensure that all ALPS related material used in the factory/site is up to date and standard, including all templates and visuals.
• Run local ALPS Basic training and support ALPS CET in preparation and execution of locally run Central ALPS Basic training.
• Coordinate all local ALPS related training.
• Network with other local ALPS Drivers.
• Actively seek and communicate possible best practice solutions both locally and globally.
• Participate in Popcorn meetings and ALPS Webinars.
• Coordinate and support planning, preparation and certification process of ALPS Installation for the factory/site.
• Coordinate and support planning, preparation and execution of ALPS Progress Days for the factory/site.
• Perform audits according to ALPS (SB Audit Dialogues, SOP Audit Dialogues (Improvement), 5S Audits).
• Participate in ALPS Core Teams.
• Submit initiatives/suggestions on improvements to ALPS standards to ALPS CET.

Qualifications & experience:
