Job summary

Alfa Laval in Satara invites applications for a Project Manager-1 to lead and execute multiple projects, coordinating electrical and civil aspects while maintaining stringent cost controls, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery. • Electrical Engineer graduate, with relevant field experience.
• Liaison with MIDC/Electrical inspector and concerned authorities.
• 8–10 years of experience in project management or related roles.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Reading and understanding of GD&T drawings.
• Strong cost/time/resource reporting in project management.
• Influence factory management teams and stakeholders.
• Drive for results and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Long Term Infra Planning, developing systems and processes for Multiple Projects management.
• Project & electrical management.
• Effective coordination to establish and maintain projects with cost control, risk mitigation, on-time completion, EHS and quality.
• End to end project management from concept to handover with strict Capex and timeline.
• Project life cycle – feasibility study, business case presentation, capex approvals, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction management and handover with documentation.
• Ensuring compliance to all statutory requirements and approvals.
• Mapping project progress with look ahead, actions required, proactively escalating risk, mitigation plan.
• Team building, training for upgrading of team skills.
• Presentation of complete project deliverables, road map to management.
• Managing project cost control, spend and variance.
• Value engineering opportunities and vigilant project lifecycle management.
• Support factories or region India with significant projects.
• Has the authority to make decisions and manage allocated resources within time frame and budget.

The position / About the Job

In this job the Project manager -1 would be responsible for:

• Long Term Infra Planning, developing systems and processes for Multiple Projects management
• Project & electrical management

• Electrical Engineer graduate, having relevant experience in the same field.
• Liaisoning with MIDC/ Electrical inspector & concern authorities
• Minimum 8 Years to 10 Years of experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Drawing reading and understanding of GD &T
• Project management experience with reporting metrics of cost, time and other resources.
