Job summary

Pragati Infra Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a Project Manager to lead planning and execution of construction projects.

You will develop execution plans, schedules, and resources, coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and clients, and ensure alignment with drawings and specifications. You will supervise site teams, monitor progress, manage QA/QC, safety, costs, and reporting to Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project execution plans, construction schedules, and resource deployment plans.
• Monitor project progress against approved timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and clients.
• Ensure smooth execution of all construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Supervise site teams including Engineers, Supervisors, QA/QC, Safety Officers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections and review meetings.
• Resolve technical and operational issues arising at site.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor QA/QC procedures and inspection processes.
• Implement corrective actions for non-conformities.
• Maintain quality documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and statutory regulations.
• Conduct safety reviews and toolbox meetings.
• Monitor implementation of safety measures and PPE usage.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
• Control wastage of materials and resources.
• Verify subcontractor bills and vendor invoices.
• Prepare cost reports and forecast project expenditures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Attend project review meetings with clients and consultants.
• Submit periodic progress reports.
• Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with procurement department for timely material supply.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and contractual compliance.
• Review work orders, contracts, and variation orders.
• Ensure timely certification and billing.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project KPIs related to cost, quality, safety, and schedule.
• Report project status to Head Office Management.
• Ensure timely project completion and handover.
