Job summary

Fenesta in Gurugram is hiring for an experienced procurement professional to drive end-to-end CAPEX procurement for large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects. You will coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant execution of civil, mechanical, and electrical works.

You will lead e-procurement efforts using SAP Ariba, perform techno-commercial vendor evaluations, and negotiate favorable terms while ensuring thorough documentation and timely

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end CAPEX procurement lifecycles from RFQ issuance to PO closure for large-scale greenfield/brownfield projects.
• Vendor identification, techno-commercial evaluation, and negotiation across machinery, electrical, and civil work categories.
• Drive e-procurement and reverse auction processes (SAP Ariba) for cost discovery.
• Manage procurement for PEB structures, structural steel, and civil/turnkey works with EPC contractors.
• Source and finalize electrical infrastructure transformers, LT/HT cables, and lighting systems.
• Oversee solar procurement EPC vendor evaluation and installation contracts.
• Draft, negotiate, and administer service contracts and AMCs across mechanical, electrical, and utility functions.
• Ensure complete documentation — MOMs, approval notes, inspection reports, and service records.
• Collaborate with engineering, plant operations, and finance teams to execute projects smoothly.
• Conduct vendor/site visits to ensure quality, safety, and delivery commitments.

Job description

To execute new and existing projects (end to end). Coordinating with various departments, suppliers, vendors and contractors for effective execution.

This role aims to support and enable the management and factories in expansion of new projects and existing facilities from the civil and capex perspectives and be adept at project management.

Seamless and time-bound execution of the project from all aspects Civil (Buildings and sheds, Mechanical (machines) and Electrical (both LT and HT) along with the plant teams and HO teams .

Responsibilties:

• Own end-to-end CAPEX procurement lifecycles from RFQ issuance to PO closure for a large-scale greenfield plant & brownfield projects
• Vendor identification, techno-commercial evaluation, and negotiation across machinery, electrical, and civil work categories
• Drive e-procurement and reverse auction processes (SAP Ariba) for competitive cost discovery
• Manage procurement for PEB structures, structural steel, and civil/turnkey works in coordination with EPC contractors
• Source and finalize electrical infrastructure Transformers & LT panels, HT & LT cables, conduiting, lighting systems
• Manage solar power project procurement EPC vendor selection, module/inverter techno-commercial evaluation, and installation contract finalization
• Oversee solar AMC contracts - warranty terms and regular follow-ups.
• Procure mechanical and material-handling equipment cranes, forklifts, packaging machinery
• Manage utility system procurement, including vendor performance reviews
• Draft, negotiate, and administer service contracts AMCs, maintenance agreements, and manpower/service vendor arrangements — across mechanical, electrical, and utility functions
• Ensure complete documentation — MOMs, approval notes, inspection reports, and service contract records
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, plant operations, and finance teams
• Conduct vendor/site visits to ensure compliance with quality, safety, delivery, and service-level commitments
• Regular Follow up with commercial for timely payment from the suppliers/Vendors.
• Coordination between Building architect & Civil/PEB/Electrical Contractors to resolve any discrepancy creating bottleneck for project execution work.

Key interactions :

• Suppliers/Vendors/Contractors – Civil, machineries, electrical and other utilities for negotiations/finalizations and time-bound execution
• Internal Teams: For the execution of the Greenfield and Brownfield projects/ handover of the completed project to the end user along with the handholding and guidance about the project
• Management: Prepare and present the business plans, prepare the budget and share the execution summary with the management in a time-bound manner
