Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Pune invites a seasoned Project Manager, AVP to lead COAI data pipeline delivery in a fast-paced agile environment. You will coordinate analysts, developers and testers across locations, ensuring risks and dependencies are managed and projects meet standards.

You will shape requirements, drive implementation with IT product owners, manage vendors, and report milestones using dbClarity and JIRA, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

  • 14+ years' experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or equivalent in a data-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, including Google Cloud BigQuery.
  • Ability to define product specifications, interfaces, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
  • Strategic problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver COAI data pipelines in line with business, technical, quality, and timeline requirements.
  • Manage the Book of Work, Scrum ceremonies, JIRA roadmap, and delivery plans with IT Product Owners and business stakeholders.
  • Assess integration complexity and high-level architecture to support solution and portfolio alignment.
  • Manage vendors, including deliverables, attendance, and invoice tracking.
  • Build strong relationships with technical, operational, business, and client stakeholders while coordinating dependencies.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, UAT, parallel run, and go-live using appropriate project methods.
  • Maintain project plans, documentation, and administration, using tools such as dbClarity.
  • Track and report milestones, deadlines, budgets, workflows, and dependencies, resolving process failures promptly.
  • Act as the primary project contact, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues affecting delivery and squad health.

Job Title: Project Manager, AVP

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

You will be joining Post Trade Automation Technology, which is part of Technology, Data and Innovation at Deutsche Bank. We are an engineering focused organization, striving for the highest quality architecture, design and code across our teams. You will be a Project Manager in one of the programmes delivering our COAI application, working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will bring project management experience, be tenacious, have excellent communication skills and a very structured way of working. You will single point of contact for a project team of analysts, developers and testers in multiple locations, ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are highlighted, progress is regularly reported and the project is run in accordance with Deutsche Bank's standards using the prescribed toolset.
