Job summary

OPT IT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology projects in Pune, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires a strong background in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies, plus expertise in planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management. PMP/PRINCE2/CSM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage projects from initiation to closure
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets
• Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, clients, and vendors
• Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables
• Manage stakeholder communication, status reporting, and escalations
• Ensure adherence to quality, governance, Agile, or waterfall methodologies
• Lead project reviews, change management, and resource planning
• Maintain project plans, documentation, RAID logs, and performance reports
• Drive issue resolution and ensure successful project delivery
