Job summary

Pioneer Management Consultant Pvt Ltd in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Sr. Project Manager with 5+ years of LPG project experience to lead planning, execution, and handover of complex LPG facilities.

The role requires deep hands-on knowledge of LPG storage, bottling plants, piping, and safety systems, along with project planning, team leadership, vendor coordination, and strong regulatory compliance skills. Extensive travel to sites and overseas locations will be expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of LPG project experience in EPC or related sectors.
• Hands-on knowledge of LPG storage, transfer, piping, vessels, pumps and safety systems.
• Experience in project execution, installation, commissioning, and site management.
• Familiarity with LPG safety regulations (PESO, OISD, etc.).
• Willingness to travel extensively, including international sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage LPG projects from award to commissioning and handover.
• Plan schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and resources.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment specs and layouts.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, vendors, contractors and authorities.
• Monitor site execution for quality, safety and compliance.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports and handover documentation.
• Travel frequently to project sites, including international locations.

Criteria:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related discipline with 5+ Years in experience in LPG projects, preferably in EPC, LPG bottling plants, storage terminals, industrial gas, or oil & gas.

Professional Experience:

• Strong practical knowledge of LPG storage, transfer, piping, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, vaporizers, bottling systems, and safety systems.
• Experience in project execution, installation, commissioning, and site management.
• Knowledge of LPG statutory and safety requirements is essential.
• Strong project planning, team management, vendor coordination, and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites and overseas locations when required.

Job Purpose:

Responsible to manage and execute LPG-related projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and final handover. should have hands-on experience in LPG storage and handling systems, piping, equipment installation, project execution, and coordination with customers, vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete LPG projects from project award to commissioning and handover.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and resources.
• Handle projects involving LPG storage tanks, LPG bottling plants, LPG bullets, vaporizers, pumps, compressors, piping, unloading systems, and associated equipment.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment specifications, layouts, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, vendors, contractors, and statutory authorities.
• Monitor site execution and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable PESO, OISD, PNGRB, SMPV, and other relevant LPG safety and statutory requirements.
• Manage contractors and site teams and ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and submit progress reports to management.
• Coordinate inspection, pressure testing, commissioning, trial runs, and final handover.
• Ensure proper project documentation, as-built drawings, test certificates, commissioning reports, and handover documents.
• Handle customer queries and resolve technical/project execution issues.
• Travel: The person will need to frequently travel to project sites and customer locations, including international travel when required.
