Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in projects and construction management, preferably oil and gas.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of CAPEX projects from engineering studies to handover to operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects smoothly.
• Plan and monitor projects within the defined domain and ensure strict adherence to schedule and budget.
• Ensure compliance with national regulations, TE standards and industry requirements.

• Monitor and report project progress through RFx processes, order placement, erection, and invoicing.
• Provide resident project management support at various locations during execution, commissioning, and handover.

Asst. MANAGER PROJECTS (LPG Plants)

Project Management

The Project Engineers position is responsible for:

• Manage the execution of CAPEX projects of Engineering & Projects-All Plants from the commencement of Engineering studies until completion of construction, commissioning and handover to Operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the projects smoothly.
• Manage Project planning and monitoring within the domain.
• Ensure compliance with national regulations, TE rules and specifications and industry standards.
• Co-ordinating all Actions with plant operation and maintenance team as necessary for successful execution of the project until smooth handover and project closure.
• Identifying, arranging, controlling and monitoring works at site.
• Coordinating with the multi-discipline team during Project Execution phase.
• Conducting periodic project Risk assessment meetings with HSE team of TE, PMC & Contractor and draw up mitigating measures.
• Ensuring project objectives are monitored and adhered to project schedule and budget.
• Organizing formal closure and handover of the projects and REX report.
• Monitor and report project progress across the RFI/RFQ process, order placement, equipment production, site execution, and invoice management.
• Key responsibility of this position includes, providing necessary resident project management support at various locations during the project execution/ commissioning/ hand-over.

Safety, Sustainability & Compliance

Lead safety initiatives, managing compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including TE standards, PNGRB, PESO, and OISD.

Manage sustainability programs to minimize environmental impact and support corporate responsibility goals.

Control compliance monitoring and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to laws and internal policies.

Financial & Performance Management

Control and implement budgeting and resource allocation process to maximize operational efficiency.

Control and manage Engineering and Projects-Plant budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or reliability.

Control financial performance by implementing measures to optimize OPEX and CAPEX and enhance profitability.

Team Leadership & Development

Develop high-performing contractors/suppliers team of engineers, technicians, and project professionals.

Lead the process of knowledge transfer to the contractors/suppliers team by Providing training, and supporting for implementation of TEMIPL HSSE and Project management requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate with TEMIPL employees and Contractors/Suppliers.

Qualifications/Experience required:

What is the required qualification level for the position? Bachelors in mechanical or electrical engineering.

What are the technical skills required? Project Management including execution, Project Risk studies and Change management process etc.

Which specific knowledges are required for the position? Project Management/ execution and project execution, good skill in MS-Office.

What language skills are required? Good proficiency in English & Hindi.

What is the required level of experience for the position?

7-10 years in Projects, Construction management (Oil and Gas preferred)
