Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Project Manager to lead customer project delivery from onsite partner/customer offices. You will manage project financials, forecast, and client relationships while coordinating a small internal/external team.

The role emphasizes infra and cloud delivery programs with a focus on business outcomes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of total experience, 5+ years in infra/cloud delivery, and PM/ITIL familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in engineering or related field.
• PM certifications like PMP or ITIL are preferred.
• 10+ years of total experience with 5+ years in infra/cloud delivery programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages customer project delivery within small to medium scope with low risk.
• Oversees project financials including P&L and provides forecasts.
• Identifies opportunities and supports qualification and opportunity assessment.
• Maintains client relationships and represents the organization externally.
• Leads project team with up to 7 members and mentors skill development.

What you’ll do

• Manages customer project delivery. Revenue as detailed in Impact section. Small to medium /straightforward/ local scope. Low risk Straightforward legal and commercial issues.
• Manages project financials including P&L. Meets or exceeds SOAR approved budgets. Provides reliable financial forecasts to the management.
• Manages business development. Identifies and develops new opportunities on current project. Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for small straightforward opportunities. Acts as opportunity manager for low risk deals.
• Manages client relationships. Manages first level to mid-level client delivery relationships. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
• Manages project team. Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 7 people. Encourages skill development of project team members. Provides performance feedback for team members.

What you need to bring

Education and Experience Required

• BE / BTech / MCA
• PMP / ITIL Preferred
• 10+ Years Total Experience
• 5+ Years In Infra / Cloud Delivery Programs

Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrates a basic knowledge of key operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
• Understands project management methods.
• Participates in the company PM Professions community.
• On a development plan leading to higher PM skills.
