Through an Employer of Record (EOR), we are looking for a new Project Manager in India to join our growing Project Management Team. This role reports to the Project Management Manager and coordinates cross-functional teams to execute large, complex projects and build and enhance digital products.
Role Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote from India
Schedule: Monday through Friday with a minimum overlap of 4-5 hours per day with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time
Base Salary: $10,500 – $13,000 USD per year
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to enhance our e-commerce website and mobile app experience.
- Assist in defining scope, goals, key milestones, and timelines.
- Gather work estimates, build roadmaps, delegate tasks, coordinate project activities, and track progress on deliverables.
- Continuously measure overall project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Communication, Stakeholder Management, and Meeting Facilitation
- Serve as a point of contact and ensure proactive, clear, and comprehensive communication across product teams including developers, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Keep project management software and documentation up to date.
- Prepare agendas and facilitate meetings effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with software engineers, product managers, and key business stakeholders to craft dynamic technical plans and ensure efficient delivery of customer value.
- Support team members by removing roadblocks and facilitating collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies, and help develop mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement
- Evaluate, analyze, suggest, and implement process improvements to the project workflow, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and timely execution.
Manage Incoming Product Request/Bug Portal
- Own our internal product request process to add features, update existing features, and fix bugs on our customer-facing ecommerce website, prioritizing requests and funneling work through the appropriate teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- 1-3 years of project management experience (e.g., Project Assistant, Coordinator, Associate, or Project Manager) with developers or engineers
- Knowledge of project management frameworks including waterfall, agile, and hybrid
- Strong leadership with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- High emotional intelligence
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience with project management and/or development software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Coda, Monday.com, Asana, etc.)
- Experience in a software development environment and knowledge of the SDLC
- Experience as a Scrum Master or CSM
