Job summary

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in project management, a PMP or similar certification, and hands-on experience with Jira, MS Project, and Wrike. Bachelor's in Business/CS/Engineering preferred.

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage complex projects while adhering to CMMI Level 3 (or higher) standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, implementing standardized processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and managing project risks, budget, and scope in a structured environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Process Adherence (CMMI Focus): Ensure projects follow the organization's set of standard processes (tailored for the project) as required by CMMI standards.
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans (Project Management Plan), including defining scope, schedules, budget, and resource needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitoring and Control: Actively monitor project progress against the plan, conducting regular reviews, tracking KPIs, and taking corrective action when significant deviations occur.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks and issues, maintaining a risk register as per organisational process assets.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet predefined quality standards, following defined verification and validation processes.
• Scope Management: Manage scope change requests, documenting their impact on timelines and budgets.
• Documentation and Configuration Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project records, lessons learned, and meeting records (meeting audit requirements).

Experience 4 to 6 years of experience in project management, ideally within a CMMI-compliant environment.

Education Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Qualification PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification strongly preferred.

Soft Skills Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Process Knowledge Familiarity with process improvement frameworks such as CMMI, ISO, or ITIL.

Tools Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Wrike).
