Job summary

Marklytics India Private Limited in Chennai (Hybrid) seeks a Project Manager to oversee day‑to‑day client programme delivery from kickoff to go‑live. You will translate regulatory and technical scopes into clear plans and keep the Chennai team on schedule, while coordinating with UK leadership and automotive clients.

As an early hire, you will help shape how delivery runs as the company grows, aligning stakeholders and ensuring smooth data integrations across SaaS and on‑premise deployments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in automotive or auto‑component manufacturing.
• Hands‑on delivery of IT, digital, or software projects in a manufacturing environment, such as MES, ERP, PLM, supplier portals, or plant digitisation.
• Working knowledge of how automotive OEMs and suppliers operate: supplier onboarding, PPAP and quality documentation, BOM structures, and procurement cycles.
• Experience managing client or OEM stakeholders, including status reporting, escalations, and change control.
• Comfort with Agile delivery and tools like Jira or ClickUp.
• Enough technical fluency to follow APIs, data flows, and cloud platforms, and to work credibly with engineers.
• Clear, structured written communication and comfort with startup ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery for multiple concurrent client projects: plans, milestones, risks, and quality.
• Break SOWs and regulatory requirements into release plans and sprint backlogs with the tech lead.
• Coordinate delivery across multi-tenant SaaS platform and client-specific on-premise deployments.
• Run agile ceremonies for the Chennai engineering team and align with UK–India overlap window.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for client programme teams, handling status reports, meetings, and change requests.
• Escalate commercial matters to leadership as needed.
• Coordinate data integrations with client and supplier systems (ERP, MES, supplier data feeds).
• Support pre-sales with effort estimates and timelines.
• Keep RAID logs, delivery dashboards, and documentation audit‑ready per ISO/SOC 2 controls.
• Help set up delivery processes, templates, and tooling from the ground up.

About Marklytics

Marklytics builds Digital Product Passport (DPP), product traceability, LCA, and regulatory compliance platforms for global manufacturers.

The role

You’ll manage day-to-day delivery of client programmes, from kickoff to go-live. You’ll turn regulatory and technical scopes into clear plans and keep our Chennai engineering team shipping on schedule. You’ll also be the link between UK leadership, automotive clients, and engineers in India. This is an early hire, so you’ll help shape how we run delivery as we grow.

• Experience coordinating with international OEMs (EU, Japan, Vietnam, or similar).
• Background in sustainability, traceability, or compliance projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or an equivalent certification.
