Job summary

Vertiv in India seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead data centre construction and commissioning projects. You will drive planning, scheduling, cost control, and supplier coordination to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires coordinating with engineering, procurement, quality, and logistics teams, managing risk, and ensuring safety and quality standards on site. Strong MS Project skills and PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in project management, preferably data centre projects.
• Electrical or Mechanical engineering degree.
• Experience managing scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience coordinating with factory, engineering, procurement, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead data centre project delivery from planning through commissioning.
• Create and maintain schedules using MS Project.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Ensure delivery meets quality, time, and budget constraints.
• Organize inspections and on-site commissioning.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in Project Management, preferably data centre projects.
• Electrical / Mechanical Engineer qualification.
• Responsible for managing projects to meet delivery, quality and cost requirements.
• Expertise in UPS / power or HVAC systems.
• Experience in executing data centre projects is an advantage.
• Conversed with the use of MS Project and for creating schedules using MS Project.
• Preferably PMP certified.
• Interacting with factory, engineering, quality, procurement, logistics for organizing timely deliverables.
• Organizing inspections.
• Driving installation, testing, commissioning of project engineers for timely deliverables at site.
