Job description

You will be joining the Project Management Office (PMO) at Knight FinTech, a leading banking technology company specializing in Co‑lending, Lending, and Treasury solutions.

As part of the PMO team, your role will involve overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of all projects within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to project plans and delivery timelines.
• Collaborating with Head of Departments (HODs) to understand timelines, escalations, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Facilitating effective communication channels for transparency, alignment, and timely decision‑making.
• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements and communicate project status effectively.
• Participating in project scrum calls to stay updated on progress and challenges.
• Resolving escalations through effective communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Preparing executive reports for the CEO's review, emphasizing areas requiring attention, potential escalations, and project status.
• Leading change management initiatives related to project management processes and tools.
• Developing and implementing project management methodologies and best practices.
• Maintaining project management standards, including scope management and risk management processes.
• Providing training and mentoring to project managers and teams on project management principles and techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, ideally with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive process improvements and implement change initiatives.
• Experience in Digital Lending or BFSI Enterprise Software space would be a plus.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana).
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
