Responsibilities

• Assign equipment strategies, update PM plans and develop maintenance procedures.
• Ensure labour codes, work hours, materials and planning attributes are correctly assigned.
• Develop maintenance packaging methodologies aligned with site requirements and outage models.
• Contribute to maintainability reviews and criticality assessments.
• Provide spare-parts recommendations and inventory planning guidance.

The Project Maintenance Planner

responsible for providing maintenance and planning expertise to projects, including maintenance, inspection, and optimization activities.

Leading the delivery of the execution content of the maintenance build, enhancing the technical strategy with the necessary resources, tools, materials, services, execution hours, and work instructions to create a comprehensive maintenance program for safe and efficient work execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead discrete project maintenance build &optimisation scopes, including resource management.
• Utilise Project Management skills to support build delivery, with a focus on stakeholder management.
• Review and approve key documents; Maintenance and Integrity Build Execution Plan, Proforma and Quality Assurance Plan for planning deliverables.
• Assign equipment strategies to tags based on equipment class. Review and update preventative maintenance plans. Develop and validate maintenance procedures and job plans for equipment strategies.
• Ensure accurate assignment of labour codes, work hours, materials, and planning attributes such as planner groups, Safety Critical Work, Maintenance Plan descriptions within maintenance plans.
• Develop maintenance packaging methodologies and deliver executable maintenance packages aligned with site requirements, outage models, and local work management processes.
• Review the Safety and Environmental Critical performance standards established by Engineering and incorporate into the build.
• Develop and Validate planning Quality Assurance plan elements.
• Participate and contribute to project maintainability reviews and functional criticality assessments of maintainable assets.
• Provide recommendations/guidance to the selection, procurement, stocking, and preservation of spare-parts.

Support the creation of Equipment BOMs, ensuring that BOMs are populated within the CMMS and equipment/spares are accurate prior to the operate phase of the project.

Minimum years of proven experience:

10+ years of relevant technical experience, including 10 years and 5 years relevant technical field/site experience

Must have experiences/skills

• The position demands excellent organizational and communication skills, technical ability and a strong personal commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental performance.
• Experience in site-based maintenance planning, with a proven track record of leading maintenance optimization and maintenance build initiatives.
• Project management experience with ability to handle and deliver projects while balancing scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Advanced expertise in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP PM, Maximo) and knowledge of Integrity Management tools, with the ability to govern maintenance data, drive process standardisation, and lead large-scale maintenance strategy implementation.
• Proficient in reading P&IDs, and other technical documentation such control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, datasheets etc.
• Strong knowledge of BOM, Material Management, and inventory optimisation practices.
• Good understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effect analysis (FMEA).
• Good understanding of Operational Readiness and Start-up (OR&S) requirements and processes.
• Self-motivated with ability to function as a leader, coordinating bp and contractor personnel.

Flexibility to adapt to areas of the greatest need, such as maintainability studies, task list/equipment BOM generation, assignment of maintenance to equipment, and other project maintenance deliverables.

Shift Requirements

9.00am-6.00pm, 11.30am-8.30pm, 2.00pm-11.00pm IST as required to support business partners
