Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead rotating equipment packages for onshore and offshore projects. You will manage schedules, docs, BOMs, and contract deliverables while serving as the technical interface across engineering and project teams globally.

The role requires 10+ years in rotating equipment, strong PLM/tools knowledge (Teamcenter, NX, COMOS, E3, Jira, SAP), and willingness to travel for site activities and customer reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience within rotating equipment, turbo-machinery, compressors, turbines, or process industry applications.
• Experience spanning engineering, project management, manufacturing, proposals, procurement, or package engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of rotating equipment systems, gearboxes, couplings, and associated auxiliaries.
• Exposure to PLM and engineering tools such as Teamcenter, NX, COMOS, E3, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of SAP and engineering data management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage project stakeholders effectively.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, project reviews, and site activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical scope and execution of rotating equipment packages for onshore and offshore projects.
• Manage engineering schedules, technical documentation, specifications, bills of materials, and contract deliverable.
• Act as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and project functions to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support proposal development, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and operational activities.
• Translate customer specifications and contract requirements into executable engineering deliverable.
• Drive compliance with applicable engineering standards, certifications, and customer requirements.
